This fall, we’re knocking on doors.
What we’re asking Kanata homeowners, and how it shapes what we build.
A lot of house, and a lot of crews
We live here
Kanata is home. It’s where the idea came from, and it’s where we’re spending this fall at the door, asking how people book and manage the companies that work on their house.
Every season asks for something
Big lots in Kanata Lakes and the Rockeries. Tree cover in Beaverbrook and Katimavik that’s lovely in July and a lot of gutter in October. Long driveways everywhere when it snows. Plenty of Kanata homes have a crew for most of it, each on its own schedule.
Streets add up
A crew can only offer your street a route day if more than one home on it uses FullYear. The second home on a street makes the first one better off, which is why we’d rather go deep on a few streets than thin across a city.
New builds start from scratch
If you’ve just moved into a new build, you’re starting fresh: no lawn company, no snow company and no history with anyone yet. FullYear’s search is built for exactly that: say what you need and see who does that work nearby.
If we’ve knocked on your door, thank you.
Between now and the snow we’re at Kanata doors a few evenings a week. There’s no sales pitch and nothing to buy. We’re asking how you book and manage the companies that work on your house, inside and out, what you’d want taken off your plate, and what you wouldn’t. Every answer changes what gets built first.
FullYear itself launches across Ottawa in fall 2027. If we haven’t reached your street yet, the founding list is the same conversation. It takes about twenty seconds, and the optional questions are the useful part.
